Artistic, Executive and Class Director: Caroline Timm Schwiebert
Caroline Timm Schwiebert is an actress and director who has primarily made her career in commercials and voice-overs. She is repped here in Portland by Q6 Model Management and can currently be seen in ads for Hewlett-Packard and Curiosity Stream. Portland is a wonderful theatre town and she’s excited to be here. Of all the work she has done, Caroline has enjoyed working with children the most. She’s worked with them in a musical theatre setting for 13 years having grown and run summer camps and year-round after-school productions and classes for Upstage Theatre Arts Schools in Los Angeles, CA. She’s also a mother of 3 (1 boy who is 22 and 2 girls 20 and 6, so she’s been through some stuff). Caroline considers every student of hers her very own child. She believes theatre is for absolutely everyone and has seen miraculous things happen to kids of all ages/types when they hit the stage. It’s electrifying. She believes – after years and years of kids proving it to her- that if you hold a child up to a high standard they will rise up to meet that standard. She is certified in CPR/First Aid. She wishes she knew martial arts or something cool like that, but has been trained to use an epipen. So that’s kinda neat.
